Terrible. Do not waste your money. Our food came out cold and didn't taste very good either. The menu looked fantastic and we were pretty excited to try different dishes, but we were very disappointed. I got the shrimp and grits. The grits were actually a sticky clump of dry polenta and my husband ordered a burger, which will only come well done, which had a nasty sauce on it and the waffle fries were over salted. We also ordered onion rings, which are almost impossible to mess up, but they did. The batter was mushy on the majority of them, on the inside. Would not recommend.

Breakfast was mouthwatering, not only freshness but presentation and the waittess service and attention sealed the perfect experience.

The bernaise was broken. The muffin was not toasted therefore it was mushy. One poached egg was a little under. The other one was perfect. The mimosas were okay.

Overall a good hotel. Construction was difficult and obstructed the views. Hot tub was unavailable.

We spent two nights at the Hyatt downtown. The hotel has a very lovely lobby area and the room was really big and very comfortable. I was surprised to see an old "fat" TV in the room, because most hotels of this quality by now have upgraded to flat screens. Other than that, the room was really very nice. The charge for valet parking was really exhorbitant - $20.00 a night. When we were in Maui it was only $5.00 a night. Jacksonville is not NYC - so that was disappointing. We self-parked the second night and guess what? That was $15 a night. The other unpleasant surprise was the charge for wireless internet in the room. $14.95 per day. Most hotels offer it free - but those which charge are basically usually charging $9.95 a day. The hotel is very nice. The location is cool if you want to hang out in Downtown Jax. There are a lot of restaurants and clubs nearby. I think they are making excessive margin on the "gotcha" fees. That would make me hesitant to stay there again.

Wings were good, husband ordered cheeseburger said had no flavor. I ordered pulled chicken sliders & I feel they had no flavor either. Maybe it was b/c it was pretty late or maybe not usual chef (giving them the benefit of the doubt) Waffle fries were good though

This a very nice hotel in a really great location. But it's getting older and they need to pay more attention to that need. Otherwise always a great place to stay

The place is pretty wonderful I liked and didn't like the location at the same time. It felt somewhat out of place. We only stayed for one night but overall the night was good. The place had a restaurant and a 247 bar , the bar was great didn't really try the restaurant sadly. I wished there were more locations around the area to walk to. Didn't like the construction all around the hotel.

This is one of the few nice places to stay in Jacksonville. The rooms are clean, service is friendly and helpful. The restuarant was really good for breakfast. The hotel is right downtown so its within walking distance of restaurants and the river walk.

Just enjoyed a delightful and delicious dinner in the Shor Restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville. The seafood (red fish) was so fresh it tasted like it just jumped into the boat. The grass-fed beef was very tender and perfectly cooked. The appetizer of a sampling of local seafood choices was a perfect way to start our meal. It was impressive to see the F&B manager, Luke, so actively involved with customers. His collegial interaction with his staff as well as his meticulous attention to every detail were indications of his obviously excellent leadership skills. Our server, Michelle, was efficient and made us feel very welcome. I have not stayed in this hotel for a number of years but the kind and hospitable staff make it a pleasure to be here again.

I was pleasantly surprised. The chef prepared a very good meal. Excellent service. Drinks were reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant. Dessert was really good. Enjoyed will do this again.

The hotel is probably one of the nicest & best parts of Jacksonville. The city itself is terrible not worth visiting. Hyatt offered all these "included" amenities, however many of these features were NOT actually available, including movies on demand, 24hr hot food, etc. The chauffer service is great for leaving the hotel, but not helpful at all in getting back. We were quite displeased with the features, services, & included amenities that were NOT actually included or available. The breakfast & bar were good pricey but worthwhile & again best places we attended on our trip its a run down city with little to no benifits of traveling there.

Great food and service. Very pleasant atmosphere

Don’t order off the menu. 25min to get an order of pancakes from the kitchen. Buffett was standard breakfast food, nothing to rave about.

Was here for a powerlifting competition. I have stayed here in the past as well. Very nice building, currently under renovations.

Surprisingly very good dinner for hotel restaurant! Service was excellent! Was very busy due to an NFL game and managers did not hesitate to help with cleaning and serving tables!!
William Mikeal
Customer service was very good but, the menu what lacking in a variety and party slat and pepper for each meal. Spiceless.

The food comes out quickly. It always tastes good. It has a comfortable atmosphere. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Breakfast included as part of our stay. Good food. Great assortment of breakfast items. Not crowded. Great waitstaff. Very responsive with impressive attention to detail. The greeter was terribly rude to me and my friend on two separate occasions; earning this otherwise delightful eatery four stars instead of five.

Comfortable and friendly with a touch of Elegance

Nice hotel, try the club on 17th floor and nice pool / Gym on 19th. Rumi at the club is very friendly and polite made me start the day with smile, every morning that I went there and Jeff in the afternoon knowledgable with football and sport talk. You won't be alone here !

Fish tacos were great!!!

They have a very good breakfast buffet, they also have chicken sausage with a lamb casing, but ask for it, it's not easy to spot on the buffet.
